De FA Cup 1984–1985 was de 104de editie van de oudste voetbalbekercompetitie ter wereld, de Engelse FA Cup. De eerste ronde begon op 17 november 1984. Het toernooi eindigde op zaterdag 18 mei 1985 met de finale in het (oude) Wembley Stadium in Londen onder leiding van scheidsrechter Peter Willis. De beker ging voor de zesde keer in de clubgeschiedenis naar Manchester United, dat in de finale met 1–0 te sterk was voor Everton. Het winnende doelpunt kwam in de verlenging op naam van de Noord-Ierse aanvaller Norman Whiteside.
