Which Star Trek character was depicted in the most different time frames?
To be clear up front: I am not asking who time-traveled the most times, which is this question.
I'm interested in which character was depicted on-screen in the most different periods. For the purpose of this question, a time period is different if it differs from the main timeline of the show/films.
I.e., that means that the "present day" of each character's series counts as one period even when "present day" can span decades. But a period outside of their primary series counts as another period.
Examples of what counts as another time frame:
- time travel to another period (that doesn't overlap with the "present day" directly depicted of the course of the series for that character). (e.g. Data meets Twain)
- appearance outside of the characters main series (e.g. Barclay in VOY) but non-overlapping
- flashbacks
- historical elements like past video or images (e.g. Geordi in "Identity Crisis")
- dream sequences or illusions (e.g. "Future Imperfect") that ostensibly take place at a different time, even if imagined. Yes, this means the holodeck counts if the time period is reasonably specific. And scenarios created by Q appear to be at an unspecified and therefore unique time.
Examples of what does not count:
- appearance in another series, but overlapping (e.g. Quark in TNG)
- multiple jumps to the same period do not count seperately
- different timeline/parallel universes do not count as seperate time frames unless the actual time is different
- Incidental images from unspecified time periods (e.g. a personnel file) does not count as a past depiction unless it's relevant to the story or context that the image is old. (E.g. "Here's a very old picture from our files. Her appearance may have changed." would count, but a random picture doesn't.)
- Events which hypothetically could overlap are not assumed to overlap unless there is a specific event which anchors them. (E.g. Events of "Tapestry" at the Academy and the photo of Cadet Picard from Nemesis)
If it is not clear what constitues a different timeframe, please comment, and I'll clarify.
