Where are Drax's nipples?

61

There was a running joke throughout Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 that Drax has sensitive nipples. This is initially brought up in the opening credits scene when the Guardians are waiting for the interdimensional beast.

Gamora: Drax, why aren’t you wearing one of Rocket’s aero-rigs?

Drax: It hurts.

Gamora: Hurts?

Drax: (muttering) I have sensitive nipples.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

It's brought up again when they are fighting Ego and Peter puts an aero-rig onto Drax.

Quill: Someone needs to be up top when Kraglin arrives. Drax, take Mantis.

Drax nods. He picks up Mantis. Quill grabs the aero-rig off himself and slaps it on Drax’s back, which automatically wraps around his upper body.

Drax: Ahhh! My nipples!

ibid

However, when taking a closer look at Drax I can't see any nipples on him. In fact even when comparing the character to the actor I am struggling to see Dave's actual nipples underneath all the make up.

So, where are Drax's nipples?

Drax has mastered the art of keeping his nipples so completely still that they become invisible.

See the red markings on his skin? All nipple. That's why they're so sensitive.

They are there, but the problem is that Bautista himself does not have large nipples, and they are located low and lateral as can be seen in the below photo:

Dave Bautista

And, if you look closely in the below photo, you can see the protrusion of his left nipple breaking the line of the curve on his pectoral (left side as well, right side as you look at it):

Drax with the Guardians

So, he has nipples in the normal place, just hard to see and not very prominent.

To Carrot:

When other people find information posted on another question and the answers given don't necessarily help posting another question is pointless when the people who have given advice on the first question are more equipped to help with the 2nd person's question instead of the 2nd person's question getting lost and wouldn't be clear that answers had been given even if they weren't that important. Now deleting someone's answer, Carrot is a pretty petty thing for someone who asked help for the first time on this website. But seeing as how you are so clearly cerebrally inclined this question negates any smarts you have. Trying to figure out the reading order in a crossover story arc seems to have more substance than a question about the lack of someone's nipples. People like you who are more concerned with trivial things and then shit on someone trying to get a little help with someone else's question page instead of posting my own and someone saying oh well someone already did that and here's the answer, when the answers given don't have the complete information or conflicting information, doesn't help and is ignorant and intolerant and makes me sick, especially about the fact that instead of helping someone your so much more concerned about a fictional characters nipples, so rude. So think about how you come across to people who ask for help next time Carrot and open your mind and stop being such a stick in the mud.

I don't care if you delete this and I don't care right know if this is not the right forum to discuss this because I couldn't figure out any other way to message you or bring this to your attention. Just read it because I asked very nicely about the Age of Darkness story arc story order and you and 2 other mean people decided to delete my comment so thank you for instead of helping, you just turned someone away who asked for help, probably because you thought it was the wrong forum. But in my mind, posting another question that people think have been answered would just point me to those answers but like stated before didn't help and was slightly confusing with the different sources given not having all the same info or not being clear about the order or showing more issues alleged to be in the series but may not be. Anyway, please stop being so dismissive, judgmental, and exclusionary. Please and thank you. Open your heart and mind! And learn to be patient.

PS: This was not patronizing just a little perturbed and I feel like instead of someone helping that you and 2 other people decided it was better to turn someone away than bother to help someone who that was there first time using this website ever. So please keep that in mind when you are acting like the moderator of this website or format control or whatever someone who actually get's paid to make sure things are in the right spot on a website (the fact that this was done in multiple people's spare time, makes me think people like that have nothing better to do than joyfully spending their time telling people online how to do things properly or just straight up kicking people off or deleting things of other peoples' because it makes them feel like they have some control in their lives or they just enjoy shutting people down especially if they ask for help. So thanks for the sympathy and the help people like you guys are why I have no hope for people in general because instead of spending either one minute explaining that things normally get posted on another post and then listening to why someone did something the way they did. Helping others helps yourselves. When everyone does well, no matter in what forum, in what manner, and in what element of our society, we all do better. Plus being nice doesn't hurt and actually makes you happy to, instead of being so miserable in your life that you feel like you have no control over so you perpetrate it when you can onto others and that is no way to go through life.

Much like the line from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country; maybe not all races have nipples in the same place. (Obviously the quote from the Star Trek movie was "not everyone keeps their genitals in the same place" after the big guy in prison was kicked in the knees.)

I think he more humanoid than humanoidesque. I mean, other than his color, he could basically pass for human. Hell, we even have an actor here on Earth who looks just like Drax.
