Some of the people here are pretty good at story identification, but they're not that good. I think they will need more to go on. Do you remember anything else about the book? Is it more or less than 50 years old? Are all the characters Israelis, or are there non-Israelis too? Arabs, Swedes, androids, space aliens? Do you recall if the mc was male or female? What sort of problem was it: mechanical, medical, spiritual, public relations? Does the problem get solved? Was it a paperback? British or American? Remember anything about the cover?
