Explain why Ego was alone in the Universe after it exploded into existence leaving behind the infinity stones...
I’m not a comic book junkie as most who follow the MCU, but I’d like the storyline to make at least minimal logic. Here’s my quandary...
Ego was alone in ALL of the Universe for millions of years as he began to learn without being taught by any older being. That’s odd in itself, but not the question I’d like an answer to at this point in time. My question is....Hiw can Thanos be the most powerful being in the Universe when Galactus exists although not in the MCU movies. We had Silver Surfer, but that was once again not in this MCU Disney owned Univese. Which is why we don’t have the X-Men or the FF4 in any of these movies. So...if Ego is/was a Celestial and he existed in the same time and space as a Thanos. Why didn’t Thanis and Ego ever team up or fight? Why didn’t Ego get a Thanos to try to infuse his Celestial gene to make the Universe all Ego? Or...why didn’t Thanos ever hear of Ego and his plan and try to fight him? Ego’s plan runs contradictory to how Thanos saw the Universe as a better place with enough for everyone once all life was cut in half. Yet Ego did nothing to interfere with Thanos gathering all the infinity stones. For that matter...why didn’t Ego simply collect all the Infinity stones which would then have given him all the power he said he needed to make the Universe better? None of these actions of these super powered villains makes any sense nor do they follow any logical flow. I’d. Dry much like to have someone who knows the answers write back to this question and explain how this is all supposed to make sense. While at it, how about Dr. Strange controlling the TIME stone didn’t simply turn back time to before Thanos was even born or began to think about collecting the gem stones or before the time when the Dwarves made him the Gauntlet that by some additional mystery CAN contain the power of ALL the Infinity Stones. Yep, it was severely damaged as was Thanos after he snapped his fingers and eliminated half of all life (or just humanoids?) in the Universe. Would this have eliminated Galactus or Ego or The Watchers, etc., etc., etc.
I understand it’s just comic book stuff, but I think it should all follow some level of logic unless specifically stated it defies logic. And I’m not even going to ask why Thanos is the ‘most powerful being in the universe’. I’m sure that would be a huge discussion just in itself since I know enough to know other beings in the Marvel Universe ARE more powerful than Thanos minus the Gauntlet filled with stones. Are there no other humanoids left from his home world alive somewhere? Why? As so on....
